Summer!!

We are finally into our summer routine! Reagan has done several camps and swim lessons and I have really just chased Reese around all day long. Being a teacher is great for many reasons but I love that I can get a taste of both worlds (stay at home mom and working mom).
Reese is such a mess!

Lots of pool time!

I love Reese's face. She did NOT want Reagan in her car.

I love the quiet moments with these two! This lasted probably 2 minutes but I will take it!

The wait

The longer you have to wait for something, the more you will appreciate it when it finally arrives. The harder you have to fight for something, the more priceless it will become once you achieve it. And the more pain you have to endure on your journey, the sweeter your arrival at your destination. All good things are worth waiting for and worth fighting for. –Susan Gale

I just happened to come across this quote and I thought I would share. I have two beautiful girls and I feel so blessed but not a day goes by that I don't relive the heartache of infertility. It changed my life. When someone announces that they are pregnant, I still get that sinking feeling because I know that there is someone somewhere that is unable to conceive. I remember when I was pregnant I was so excited but just dreaded telling people because I knew that someone was struggling with infertility. My heart aches for these people. It helped me knowing that I was not alone. It is such a sensitive subject and I never felt comfortable talking about it until recently. Please continue to pray for these couples that are unable to conceive, I know that I do.

4 years old

On June 20th, Reagan turned 4 years old. I know I say it every year but how in the world did she get to be four years old? She is the most amazing little lady. She was worth the wait, that's for sure. She would rather play make believe than play with toys. She is constantly making up games, princess games, spy games, scientist games, etc. She loves the outdoors and is so interested in animals and bugs. She changed so much for three to four. I felt like at three she was still like a baby but now she is like a big kid to me. I can't believe that I have a four year old. I hope that she continues to be so happy and energetic. She brings so much joy to our lives and we love her so very much.

Yay for summer!

Someone got a big kid bike!

One crazy month!

I am so glad that school is finally over and we can slow down. It seems like May was just crazy busy at school and at home. Reagan finished her first year of preschool on the 21st of May and it was very sad to me. I really need these girls to slow down. They are growing up way to fast for me. Reagan will be four on Saturday. How in the world did that tiny little baby girl get to be 4 years old?!? Reesie girl is 15 months and is quite a handful. She is such a little mess. Here are a few pictures of the past month. I am going to try to be better about posting more over the summer. We will see how that goes! Happy Summer!!

Donuts at the playground was necessary after church for Mother's Day! A student of mine gave me a Sugar Shack gift card and I finally got around the using it. SO delicious.
Look at this little rascal. She is really something else. She is full of energy and is very determined. She has no fear.

Sweet Reagie Grace.

The Barbie Car has been going full speed down Monumental Ave. every night after dinner. I am sure the neighbors just love that.

Reese just hangs out in the wagon a lot.

Pool opened and look who got a new suit!

Waiting for Daddy to come home.

Last day of St. Matthew's Preschool!
She put these necklaces on all by herself!
Rascal!
